Lilies of the Valley in Balsam, NC ~ Speechless Sunday

By
Real Estate Broker/Owner with MoonDancer Realty, Dillsboro,NC NC# 218097

Right now in Balsam, North Carolina, the temperature is hovering around 35 degrees.  Outside the sliding glass doors I can see a few flurries and the doors are rattling with the gusty winds.

Myrl, thank you so much.  These Lilies of the Valley have been growing in the same place outside of the house for the entire 26 years we've lived here.  I appreciate the feature.  I hope your week is wonderful also.

Donna, I think our weather is headed back to the 70s in a couple of days too. I'm ready.

Hi John, that's why I didn't use the flash...I didn't want to startle them, lol.

Hi Mona,

I love the little white flowers as they look like delicate bells. I notice you have a new picture of your office manager. Looks like a very hard worker. Happy Tuesday.

Congrats on your "Featured Post".

Steve - thanks.  I had to really contort to get low enough for those photos.  Life would be simpler if Lilies of the Valley were taller!   ;-D

Nice, Mona! I planted my first lilly of the valley about 2 weeks ago. It was a scrawny little specimen - the very last at the nursery. Today was the first day both of its' poor little leaves were able to stand up on their own. Someday maybe it will be as beautiful as the ones in your photos!

Maria, you've got the "Little Lily Who Could"...you should start taking photos now and then post them as she grows into all her glory!  It would make a fabulous post.  Have a wonderful day.

Beautiful little flowers, Mona.  I'm not sure what the temperature was here in our area today but we were at a baseball game in shorts and sleeveless tops so pretty warm!  I think winter and even spring is history here for this year!

Hi DeeDee, the weather announcer last night proclaimed we would have a summery spring day today.  Odd stuff, this global warming.  Have a great day.
