Sylvania, Ohio--Market Inventory Trends 4/25/2012

By
Real Estate Agent with Re/Max Preferred Associates, Toledo, OH

Sylvania, Ohio's market inventory shows that that number of sold properties was down but the number of new listings was up. This shows that the inventory is growing; therefore, the market is trending toward a buyer's market.

Also, you can gauge the health of the market by comparing the number of standard to distressed listings. If the number of distressed listings is smaller, the market could be healthy and more likely a sellerr's market.

  • Sold: Properties sold that month
  • New: Listings that are new on the market
  • Distressed: Listings that are short sales, bank owned, or up for auction.
  • Standard: Non-distressed listings
