After reviewing the inventory of available homes in Danville this spring now is the time to look at how the San Ramon housing market is faring. This series of posts will cover our current housing inventory versus last year for: Danville, San Ramon, Blackhawk, Alamo and Walnut Creek.

Housing Inventory in San Ramon in April 2011

2012 Housing Inventory in San Ramon

And here is a look at how things are today:

Single Family Homes Active Inventory for Sale: 78...a 34% decline

Townhouse & Condo Active Inventory for Sale: 12...a 81% drop

And there you have it. Inventory is dramatically lower and this is certainly having a significant effect on buyers and sellers at this point in the year.

Inventory is dropping quickly here in Corona (Southern California).  Who said it's a buyer's market?

Doug - Only 2 months of inventory has got to be pushing buyers to make faster decisions.  Another great market report for the San Ramon area!

It's tougher than that now Laura. The chart was from last year. The info underneath is this year...tighter yet.
