The Spring Tulips are all out and They Are Splendid

We had a very mild winter but it was still typical with the long nights and the drab days. Spring has been wonderful even though we have a touch of cool currently, but the tulips have decided to make their presence known.

While taking a quick walk through Fulton Park this week, I was able to see some of the tulip beds that are scattered about the park.

Find the time to stop by this Sunday to see the flowers, and maybe grab a plastic bag and pick up a little of the trash as well.

Ed you're right, it was a mild but drab winter. The flowers don't know whether to bloom or whither in the up and down temps we are having lately though. Hope you have the full sunshine we have and that residents follow your advice and get out there and enjoy the flowers, sun and help with the clean up of Fulton Park!

Ed, I saw on the news where you area might be getting a cold front and hard frost which has all the growers nervous.  Here's hoping the beauty of these flowers makes it.

Ed, I've always liked tulips especially the red or yellow variety.  Our flowers have been up for a while now...the prickly pear cactus in my front yard is about to do it's thing...I'll be sure to post a photo of it when it blooms.

Ed, I love those multicolored tulips! All the tulips and daffodils around here have already died outbut the roses and pionies are just coming in.
