NINNYHAMMER

By
Real Estate Agent with Re/Max Professional Associates 74203

Sorry James but I couldn't resist.  A ninnyhammer is a term for a fool or a simpleton.  The word first appeared in the sixteenth century,  Although its origin isn't very clear.  The experts guess  that it is a combination of ninny and hammer head.

So, as James would say, do you know any ninnyhammers?

I may have heard Bill O'Reilly say it one time; however, I still like Elle Woods use of the term "butthead" in Legally Blond

Hello Conrad,

How in the world are we supposed to use this word? If we did the person you called this to would probably end up suing you .LOL

No matter where it came from I like it. Kinda like being called a "dipstick".

Have a great day in Massachusetts.

Best, Clint McKie
