The National Speleological Society’s (NSS) Convention will be held in the beautiful Greenbrier Valley of West Virginia the week of June 25–29, 2012.
You ask what is Speleology.... it is the exploration and study of caves. There are over 1300 caves in the Greenbrier County..
This will be the first NSS Convention (aka MayaCon 2012) in Lewisburg. You won’t want to miss what is going to be a very memorable week for cavers and families as the mysteries of the Maya are explored, their calendar, and their connection to the underworld.
You can pre-register for the 2012 NSS Convention event. High school and college students with ID receive a STUDENT DISCOUNT. So be sure to register early to take full advantage of everything the 2012 NSS Convention has to offer.
