May Flowers in San Francisco

I know, more about my back yard here in West Portal. But every day I am amazed when I stand at my home office door. Subtle changes. More purple flowers. The thing is, except for the huge maderense geranium that is propping itself to stand with its own leaves, all the other flowers just seem to appear by themselves every year.

It's been a busy week, showing homes in San Pablo, South San Francisco, San Bruno, Novato and San Rafael. And keeping track of my listing in San Francisco, where there is an estate sale this weekend.

But sometimes you just have to relax, and smell the roses, so to speak!

It is clear you are never to busy for flowers. The garden is gorgeous and a great reminder how relaxing it can be to create such beauty.

What a beautiful yard.  I truly appreciate perrenials, it's great to see them return to share their blooms year after year.

Your backyard is beautiful! I would have a hard time getting any work done if I could look out on that scene all day!

Thanks Jim, I will. And God knows, I live in my favorite City!

Emily, it's especially great on sunny days. Looks like we have a sunny weekend coming. Great for our neighborhood block party on Saturday.

Yeah Rob, those purple flower plants are kind of ugly in the leaf department. You just have to look past that for the true beauty. BTW, I was born in Kansas in a little town down in the southwest corner.

Rose, I actually do have an office here in West Portal, but it is great to come home to this.

I don't have a green thumb Joyce. It all happens by itself! My job is keeping the grass from taking over.

And what a lovely backyard it is...just looking at the photo brings me a sense of calm this morning.  And since I am soon heading out to show property, that's a good way to start the day!
