Love Trains? Come to The Saginaw Depot for 24 Hours of Trains 5/25/12

By
Real Estate Agent with Century 21 Hardee-Team Realty

Train Lovers Unite at 24 Hours at Saginaw Train Depot.  Come watch trains, talk about trains and view slide shows about trains and other things.  This is the 7th year for the "24 Hours at Saginaw".  Last year we had between 50 and 100 people during the 24 hour period.  We saw about 47 trains during the time span.  Every hour on the hour there are slide show presentations or videos.  There are also trivia contests.  Come join the fun.  It starts Friday 5/25/12 at 7pm.

Amtrak

Here are a few pictures of Amtrak taken on my vacation to New Mexico.  This was taken near Raton, New Mexico.

amtrak

I had to zoom way out to get the Amtrak train coming down Raton Pass on the 'S' curve.

Amtrak

Here is a shot of the full Amtrak train in East Raton, New Mexico.

Santa Fe Southern

Bright yellow, green and red Santa Fe Southern Railway engine.  Was parked at Santa Fe, New Mexico May 2012.

Rail Runner

The Santa Fe mass transit system is well organized.  Across the street from the Rail Runner passenger train station were multiple bus stops.  Makes it easy to get around town for residents.

Happy Thursday! I hope to see you at Saginaw tomorrow.  Saginaw, Texas is near Dallas and Fort Worth.  Call me at 832-816-8066 if you need directions.

That sounds like a lot of trains! I would enjoy seeing the Santa Fe Southern Railway engine.  Such bright colors!
