I love your photograph.  After a mild winter, some Maryland residents have forgotten how much they hate snow shovels.

Thanks, John, for your re-blog of our Maryland Gazpacho Soup Recipe.

Hi John,

Great post and I love the photo. Thanks so much for giving me a great laugh this morning. I am sure those snow birds will be calling soon!

PS. Came through Phoenix and it is beautiful there even though I was just at the airport.

Hi John, sounds like the Q is a great place for a second home. Sorry you are dealing with fires again this year. The haze could be seen across the Denver skies all weekend. Have a great Q day my friend.

John - I wouldn't have put Albuquerque at the top of my snowbird list, but after following your blog over the past few months, Albuquerque has so much to offer, you've changed my perspective of what New Mexico has to offer.  Great photograph!

Greetings fellow Rainers -

I truly appreciate each of your comments, input and support in the Rain!  Albuquerque does offer a great retreat for Snowbirds.  The 300+ days of sunshine and mild winters are huge draws.  I have worked with many relocating to Albuquerque, Rio Rancho and surrounding NM areas due to the beautiful year round weather.

Richard to answer your question with very low humidity Debbie and I normally don’t have to turn on our AC during the day when the temp is 90 outside.  We’re still quite comfortable with the ceiling fans going.  When the sun sets the temps do drop.  Personally we normally don’t use any AC at night.  Again the ceiling fans are enough to keep us comfortable.  I think we used AC a total of a couple weeks last summer and so far it hasn't been on this year.

I hope you each enjoyed a good and productive day in all you did.

John
