Kentlands KidServe to Help Furry Friends in Need June 10

Join Debby Hartten of Wags PR & Marketing and Diana Foley of Progressive Pet Training to learn about rescue dogs and cats and how you can help them.

KidServe parents and kids will make dog toys for the Washington Humane Society and cat toys for the Montgomery County Humane Society on Sunday, June 10, 3 p.m. at the Kentlands Clubhouse.

For the event please bring an empty water bottle (any size) with the label, cap, and safety tab removed.  It will be used to add lots of goodies to keep shelter dogs busy and happy.

Interesting... I wonder what type of toy they can make with a waterbottle?  Sounds like it is for a good cause!

Hello Roy,

Great local blog!  Of course, I love any cause that helps our 4-legged friends as all of my "children" are rescues!

Roy, great local information for people who want to support this worthy cause.  I, too, am curious about what they will do with an empty water bottle

Thanks for stopping by.  We will have to try to get some pictures of the toys that are made by the kids.
