This event will take place from 4:30 to 9:30 p.m. at CBS Studio Center.  It will include music from Diane Lotny and the Boogie Knights, a model airplane and car show  and a business expo.  Food will also be available for purchase.  Proceeds from this event will go to The Lopez Foundation helping under-privileged children and adults meet health and education challenges, and North Hollywood High School Music Department and Zoo Magnet.  For more details visit the event site.

Very appropriate patriotic post that you made on Flag Day.  It is about time to start planning for how we'll be spending Independence Day.

Jane, kudos to you for compiling this expansive list of where to view fireworks in the LA area!  I think the Marina Del Rey fireworks would be hard to beat!  How fun would that be to sit on the beach and watch the fireworks in the bay, or better yet by boat!

Michelle, I would certainly hope so :)

Bruce,  I think Sharon Paxson as the ultimate - the Newport Beach Boat Parade, but the Marina is also lovely.

We like going to the beach here. Some of the cities do firework shows and it's awesome to watch while your toes are in the sand :o) Whatever you do, ENJOY (and be safe)!
