Reviewing the Single Family home sales for the Mississippi Gulf Coast good news is in the reports!
April saw the number of homes sold during the month down from 286 to 281 homes sold. Not a significant change in homes sold. However, during the month of April, the Median and Average price of homes that did sold increased.
The median price increased from $86,763 in March to $93,900 in April! That's over 8% increase!!!
And the Average price increased from $112,740 in MARCH to $118,253 In April! That's about a 5% increase.
But the news doesn't stop with the increase from March to April.... Looking at May's sales we see
that 312 single family units sold in May. That's more than a 10% increase in number of homes sold!
In addition the median price and Average price were up too.
The median price went from $93,900 in April to $105,000 in May! An increase of over 11%
The Average price went from $118,253 in April to $121,253 in May. That's an increase of over 2.5%
So 2 months in a row we see home prices rising and sales rebounding. This is Great news for the Mississippi Gulf Coast
