You will find some of the best golf courses in the southwest right here in St. George, UT. The city is known as Utah’s golf capital. Each course is unique and has the well-known red canyon backdrop.

Utah State Parks

There are several popular state parks located in the St. George area. You will find parks like Snow Canyon, Sand Hollow, Gunlock State Park and Quail Creek. Each park offers an array of recreational opportunities.

St. George Events

People come from all around to participate in St. George’s popular annual events, including the Parade of Homes, the Winter Bird Festival, Pioneer Days, Ford Ironman, and many more.

Tuacahn Amphitheater

The “Canyon of the Gods” is the Tuacahn Amphitheater and Center for the Arts. This spectacular creation sits in the shadow of 1500-foot stunning red rock cliffs. Broadway comes to the desert at the Tuacahn Theater.

Dinosaur Walkway

Johnson Farm is the Dinosaur Discovery Site that displays many of the oldest and best preserved tracks in the world. Since February 2000 when the tracks were fist discovered, the farm has become quite an attraction. So far, over 3,500 tracks have been found on the ten-acre land. You will also find 1 of only 5 sitting dinosaur impressions in the world at the onsite museum.

Pine Valley Mountains

Ancestor Square

Located in the heart of downtown St George, you will find historic shops and buildings that have been restored in what is now called Ancestor Square.

Mountain Meadows Site

Location: Along Hwy 18 about 5 miles south of the community of Enterprise, north of St George.

Grafton Ghost Town

Get your cameras read for this partially preserved ghost town located just outside of Zion National Park.

Silver Reef Ghost Town

Rich veins of silver were discovered in the hills north of what is now the town of Leeds, along I-15 about 15 miles NE of St George.
