VeggiesSuncoast Co-Op has locally grown and pesticide-free veggies and fruit. You can find it at Pasco Habitat for Humanity on Saturday 12-2pm or Simply Fresh Produce in Tarpon Springs.

You can register as a grower or customer at the Suncoast Co-Op website www.suncoastco-op.com Connect with them on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/groups/264378686981983/

They have vegan Parmesan cheese and vegan orange julius; raw cow’s milk and yogurt. You need to order what you want by Wednesday night and you can pick it up Saturday.

Suncoast Co-op says: Why would you want to buy locally grown? Supporting your local growers will reduce the time and distance from grower to market. Reducing the need for fossil fuels and providing fresher produce. Currently,  your local grocery store produce has to travel an average of 1500 miles before it reaches your store.

Toni, We agree that buying locally supports our growers and it sounds like New Port Richey has a great place to shop at Suncoast Co-op!

Suncoast Co-Op Featuring Fresh-Organic Food in New Port Richey Florida

Good morning Toni -

Since we began juicing and trying to eat healthier we buy a lot of organic fruits and vegtables. This life change is working quiet well for me so far. Suncoast Co-Op will bring great revenue for the area as well as quality foods!

Have a great Friday my friend.

Everybody should make the effort to buy organic produce. That is what I love about Whole Foods, they support local farmers. My Son lives in Albuquerque and owns an organic farm out there. They supply six Whole Foods stores in Albuquerque and Santa Fe. It is a much healthier lifestyle, let's stop eating chemicals!

Toni,

What a wondeful mission Suncoast Co-Op has.  We love the whole concept, and have been advocates of organic foods for a long, long time.  Vegan Parmesan, I just can't picture that...Parmiggiano Reggiano is one of our favorite cheeses!  A

Toni, the Suncoast Co-op in Port Richey Florida sounds like my kind of place.  We have an EarthFare store here in Huntsville that I buy almost everything I need.

I just love you Toni.  I don't have an appointment in the morning and my husband and I can both go to the farmers market.  Glad you made me think of it.

Toni, great post for residents of New Port Richey to find vegetables without pesticides.    This is such a controversial subject and so important to wash everything off very well before consuming!
