Montgomery County cancels 2012 fireworks planned for the 4th of July because of storm related damage.

All Montgomery County sponsored events have been canceled this year because of the need for the county to focus on clean-up and recovery from Friday's storms.

Canceled Events

  • Gaithersburg
  • Germantown/Boyds
  • Rockville
  • Wheaton/Kensington

The Takoma Park event will go on as planned:  Parade beginning at 10am, fireworks at 9:30pm.

Currently there have been no announced cancelations for the 2012 PG County Fireworks displays.
