3 Keys to Real Estate Sales Success

Services for Real Estate Pros with IXACT Contact Real Estate CRM

Success is just around the corner if you know the keys to real estate sales successToday’s blog post is written by Michelle Vella, the founder of RealSTUDIO® Branding & Design. Michelle has over 20 years of combined experience in sales, marketing, publishing, photography, branding, and graphic design. RealSTUDIO is the preferred branding and design firm for many real estate agents and broker offices across the country, including RE/MAX Crest Realty Westside in Vancouver, British Columbia. We’re lucky to have Michelle share some insight with us on how REALTORS® can stand out from their competition from a branding and  design standpoint.

One of the challenges that many real estate sales professionals have is “finding business.” Whether you are a new or veteran Realtor looking to grow your business, you must:

1.    Focus

Be a big fish in a small pond and choose a specific target market. Your real estate branding strategy will be more successful if you closely target your market. Focus on getting your name in front of your current customers and best potential customers. Having an effective brand marketing and real estate marketing strategy will create loyalty among your customers, making your competition fade by the way side.

2.    Be Consistent

Convey trust with consistent brand communications and build loyalty by keeping in touch with your clients and real estate prospects on a consistent basis with branded email communications; Just Listed/Just Sold e-Cards, Just Listed/Just Sold e-Flyers, and monthly e-Newsletters that are easily available with IXACT Contact’s Realtor CRM.

3.    Create an Emotional Connection

Making an emotional connection to your customers creates awareness, has influence, prompts their buy-in and loyalty. Your website, e-newsletters, Facebook, Twitter, blog and personal brochures are excellent ways to create an emotional connection with customers and real estate prospects. Be a resource for information that matters while letting them get to know you better. Discover any issues and be the problem solver. Communicate your promise and express your unique value through the words and images of a strong consistent brand.

Branding is the best way to differentiate your business from competitors. Remember, it’s all about having a unique personality that appeals to customers.

i was once told that Emotion is the first key to success.  Whenever a decision is made, it is often emotion that determines the outcome.

Being consistant is probably the one thing that agents forget the most. It's easy to get busy and put your marketing to the side.

without the emotional connection they see you as a car salesman and figure they can just move on to the next person without any value for your time

All three are needed to be a top producer. But I think being consistent at doing what you should be doing, which is focusing on your target market is the key. When the emotional connection is added you're on your way to being that top producer.
