The Rules of the Road... I mean Sand (pt.2) The Corolla Wild Horses

By
Real Estate Agent with The Outer Banks Real Estate Copmpany NC 261870

Here in Carova, NC we work very hard to keep the Corolla Wild Horses living amongst us. They keep our communities unique & special. working to keep the horses protected & healthy, the county has set some specific rules. Of course people are NOT to feed them. Not only that but according to the Currituck Wild horse Ordinance, Chapter 3, Article II you are not supposed to come within 50 feet of them. Horses may bite or kick of they feel threatened, plus if a horse becomes too friendly with people, it may have to be removed from the beach entirely. So please to avoid being injured or receiving a $500 fine keep a save distance when you come to Carova to admire the Corolla Wild Horses.
