German Notary

Services for Real Estate Pros with I'll Stamp It
I went to a local Realtor's office today who I do a lot of Notary work for.  His client was from Germany.  He told me that in Germany all real estate contracts must be notarized by law.  The fee to notarize a real estate document in Germany is 1% of the sale price for the first stamp and 50 Euros per stamp thereafter.  On a sale equal to $1M I could make as much as $12,000.  The maximum I can charge by law in Florida is $10 per stamp.  Now if I could just get the germans to use deodarant I might move to Germany.
