Milton MA Real Estate Market Report ~ Second Quarter 2012
I am not sure where July went! I've been busy and from the looks of things it's been busy in the Milton MA Real Estate market. Better late than never, here is my report for the second quarter of 2012 for Milton MA Real Estate.
For the period of April 1, 2012 - June 30, 2012, there were 73single family homes sold in Milton MA.*. The lowest priced home sold for $180,000.00 and the highest priced home sold for $2.4 million - quite a range!. The average sales price for that time period was $497,118. For the same period in 2011, there were 56 single family homes sold in Milton MA, with an average sales price of $507,904.00.
The chart below shows the number of homes sold in Milton during the second quarter for the past five years.
You can see that 2012 saw the largest number of home sales in the second quarter for the past five years. The spike that you see in 2010 was most likely due to the first time homebuyer tax credit.
