Active participation in organizations and/or roaming around with your name badge on and business cards in hand will satisfy the task of meeting new people every day. Print advertising in the form of direct mail marketing (politicians use this form of marketing) and/or newspaper ads will fulfill this form of media advertising.
Online marketing is the latest and greatest with blogging for SEO resulting in searches that will place you on the results page depending on your intensity and consistency with this task. Blogging for business is at the top of my list, and it results in a multitude of positive outcomes. It makes the phone ring; it gives us immediate recognition online; and it complements all of our other forms of networking.
There’s nothing more powerful than a new acquaintance reading your latest blog post that resulted from a Google search of a topic. The more you blog, the more improved your online presence will become and that results in “making yourself known.” Remember, it’s not necessarily what you know but who you know that will assist you in succeeding. Network online and offline every day and you'll notice your business changing!!!
