The following plug-in is unresponsive:  Norton Confidential

Would you like to stop it?

**********

Give me a friggin' break, I'm about to lose my mind, or what little is left of it.

For over thirty minutes I have been messing with this computer.  I have shut down, re-booted, clicked on "Learn More" and didn't learn anything other than this happens when you use Google Chrome.

**********

Norton Confidential has crashed.

Norton Confidential needs your permission to run.

"Run this time"

"Always run on this site"

**********

Doesn't matter which I choose, it never ends.

HELP!

Norton - Powerful Anti-Virus, Worry Free Protection

Not a BIG MAC or Mac'n'Cheese but a nice, sleek MAC desktop will definitely make a statement in your home!

I knew what you meant Joanna, I was just having fun with you.  I've only had this computer - Toshiba Satellite - since Christmas, not time for a new one yet.  I'll consider a MAC and a Big Mac and Mac n' Cheese, they all sound good to me!  Well, maybe not the Big Mac, I prefer Wendy's.

You too Larry?  Do you use Google Chrome?  Wow, and I thought I was the only one.  Best to you also, keep persevering!

Roger, What, you want truth in advertising from Norton?  Unless things have changed, their software is a serious memory hog.

Really Sally?  No anti-virus stuff needed when you own a Mac?  I'm not sure I ever heard that before.  Cool.

Glad you got a chuckle out of the post Richard and Beth...............things are better now, but I did take a well needed friggin' break.......hope you can take yours.

Roger,

After www.malwarebytes.com brought out their version about 3 years ago, I have never reconsidered Norton or McAfee or anything else ever again.

That's what I hear Jane, but I had no idea you didn't need anything with a Mac.............interesting.  Why, do you know?

Certainly looks reasonably priced Kevin.................I'll have to give it a try.  Thanks!  No issues?

I have been using Avast for a couple of years not, excellant results. Stops most everything before there is a problem.

Hang in there Roger, many different choices - Norton is no longer "king"!  I experienced a moment of true glee when I removed it from my computer...especially the pleading notes that popped up asking "why"?Have a lovely Sunday!

I'm not even sure when it expires Lisa, but I don't care, it's such a pain.............as soon as I get something else, I'm deleting it too.

Roger,

You say REASONABLY PRICED??? Let's try this in case you missed it...

Nortan, Avast, McAfee or any others are ANNUAL subscriptions for about $25.00.

Malwarebytes is a 1 time charge of $25.00 and it constantly and nearly daily updates itself with the latest and greatest anti-scumbag protection.

The National news when it came out compared it to killing a fly with a sledgehammer.

The brains at Malware took the best of the best of all softwares and mixed it all together.

I have ran scans with others and found NO ISSUES and then ran MalWare scan and found multiple virus or trojans hidden within the registry sitting dormant and ready to cause you nightmares.

NEVER an issue since installing and no RENEWAL FEES.

Kevin I took your advice and went to www.malwarebytes.com and made the purchase.  I also uninstalled Norton, so not getting those error messages any more.  Thanks for the suggestion!
