Hanging Out At The Food Court

By
Education & Training with Hoffacker Associates LLC

This year Palm Beach County high schools have revamped their cafeterias to replace those institutional serving lines with a food court look. Borrowing a page from the malls - a favorite gathering place for teens - the schools now sport a food court dining experience. The quality and nutrition of the food is supposed be no different than before, but it likely will be accepted better and give the kids additional choices.

Sounds like a great idea.

It would be even better if they had more nutritional choices too, as well at

My high school switched to that style some 15 years ago from what I understand. Even have a pizza hut and taco bell in the food court.

We had a hot dog stand when I was in high school, but I hope the new atmospere helps with morale. :)

It sounds like a good idea, and maybe it will stir up some imagination for new things to eat.

The dining court style will definitely be more exciting for the kids; who wouldn't choose eating at a mall over a depressing cafeteria?
