Framing Art

This past July, I attended the Greenbrier Valley Theatre's art auction, which is GVT’s largest annual fundraiser, I was lucky enough to bid on a painting by Mary Hurst and to take it home.

A black frame held this beautiful painting and did not do it justice.  So, I asked David Leadman of Wall's Fine Art Gallery located at the Greenbrier's Art Colony Shops to help me select the right frame for this piece of art.

Below shows the art with the black frame and silver tone frame.... what a difference.

What a difference the silver tone frame made ...... David framed my art into a masterpiece.

The Walls Gallery vision now includes major exhibitions and competitions in conjunction with The Greenbrier.  Lectures, classes, and opportunities to meet visiting artists.   Check out the Walls Fine Art Gallery, located at the Greenbrier's Art Colony Shops in White Sulphur Springs, WV.

You sought out great advice when you asked David Leadman of Wall's Fine Art Gallery to assist you in framing this nice piece of art.  The right frame can make or break a good piece of artwork.  You and David both did a great job.

That's a beautiful painting, Rebecca, and the silver frame is a definite improvement over the black one. It adds depth.

Rebecca ~ The right frame makes all the difference!  That's a beautiful painting but it's true beauty didn't shine through with the black metal frame.  The new silver-tone frame brings out the best in that painting and sets it apart with the style that it deserves!!
