Are you ready for FALL FAIR SEASON?

By
Real Estate Agent with Godzyk Real Estate Services

It's fall, so that means it is fair season. Here in NH one of Largest Fairs is the Deerfield Fair. This year from Semptember 27 thru Sept. 30, 2012 the fair offers exciting exhibits,  thrilling rides, shows, vendors and some of the best "fair food" you could want.

I choose to go Thursday night (opneing night) as the crowds are smaller and there was no traffic. Therefore there was little to no lines anywhere.

There were exibits and competitions, the states largest pumkin, flower displays, live stock, a petting zoo and camel rides. Wait camel rides, that is so New England (head scratch). There were  new tractors and old tractors, 4H and school displays, horse pulls, a petting zoo, flower show, horse show, arts and crafts and vendors hawking everything.

The demolition Derby is not until Sunday, I was bummed but I did get to see a goat chasing a lady in the petting barn area. I need to be quicker on that video record button.

If you want to experience a true New England tradition, you MUST visit the Deerfield Fair.

The picture below is on a hill over looking the midway.

I want to see a goat chasing a lady in the petting zoo...this sounds like a great time. I love festival food. It's an excuse to over indulge and not eat healthy for a day.

Hi Scott - That sounds like fun - do you guys have any really weird fair food, like Iowa's deep fried stick of butter?
