A Slow Down Button! Anyone?

By

Every time I see the Easy Button commercial I think to myself yes, that would come in handy occasionally [you know those days when it rains, it pours] but actually what I really, really want is a Slow Down Button
!

Apparently my subconscious agrees and is instructing my brain to act accordingly.

Last week were Back-to-School nights and the one I had to attend was scheduled for 6 pm (or so I thought). 6 pm on a Monday night means major scheduling challenges - afternoon appointments, a school bus, gymnastics practice, picking up the little one and throw in an ugly commute for hubby - but we managed to sort it all out.

I arrived at the school 5 minutes early [feeling very proud of this perfect-scheduling-accomplishment], looked at the announcement to verify that the 1st grade parents were to meet in the Cafeteria and went and took my seat. I even thankfully accepted the 1st grade print-outs ... and while looking through those, I glanced up to see the 1st grade teachers walk in.

And then it hit me. I am at the wrong meeting! My daughter is a 2nd grader now! How in the world ... ?

Yes.. a Slow Down Button would be really, really nice. Glancing at the calendar on my desk I cannot believe that the last quarter of 2012 is already upon us and we are racing towards yet another Christmas. How did that happen so fast? Did I not just put the decorations away like last month?

I need a Slow Down Button! Anyone have one to share?

Oh how I feel your pain.  All weekend Debbie and I both were like a couple of thorns in a whirlwind.  Working doing what had to be done... go.. go... go.  Now here it is Monday and we both look and feel like road kill.  Yep a slow down or even an escape button around here.

Well, sometimes life gives you no other option, but it is better if you have a choice :).  Sending Hugs (left handed, but all is good)  May be slow at getting back to here, but checking in today.  All will be good no worries.  Just make you own slow down button, in case, so you have a choice.  <3

Hi Jon, thank you. I'd be happy to share ...

Hi Tom, slamming on the brakes is necessary sometimes, too! You live in a magical place ... clocks tick differently. PS. I got married on the Big Island. *sigh*

Hi John, I wish I could help you out but my quest has not been successful ... sounds like Tom Kelley has the answer! I hope you'll find some time to unwind this week.

Pam! We missed you! I'm reading between your lines here .. I hope you are well but, of course, I worry! HUGS!

Andrea, congrats on picking such a memorable place to get married!  I've come up with a new business idea - A Slow Down Retreat Center for frenzied agents right here in Puna!  You, of course, would have to come oversee the operation.....aloha!

There you go Tom - sounds like a perfect plan to me! All you need to do is market it on AR.. I bet you would find plenty of customers!
