Following on the heels of  WTF........how did THAT post get Featured?

So that post seemed to get a lot of action and response and it got me to thinking............yikes, you all know what happens when I start thinking............TROUBLE!   Well, not this time........at least I don't think so.

Here's my thought..........Do you have a post that you wrote that you felt should have gotten Featured? Why not take another look at it, edit it a bit and re-post it.............see what happens, maybe things will be different the "second time around".

You may be saying "WTF.........someone noticed!"

My girl Miss Joni suggested adding a link in the comment section of this post so we can all check it out.

Thanks Joni, that's brilliant!

I stopped worrying about points and features years ago, mainly bc of the 2 big guns way ahead of me :-0)

That's a great idea, Roger.

We have snow down past 9,000 feet. It's getting closer and it's not even the end of October. We really need this. Our drinking water tastes like dirt because the water supplier has to draw it off the botton of the reservoir due to the drought. It's so bad, we've been buying water.

Thanks, be sure to link them here Wayne and Jean Marie.................

Come on Shar, I'm sure you can find one that was Feature worthy.......you write some great stuff.

And I'm still saying that James, and most of the same people all the time too.  One day I'll write a post and name them.  LOL.

Two days in a row Barbara?  Oh no, I'm not in that Elite Group.........but thanks so much.

Thinking gets me in trouble, and if you and Barbara keep making these kind of comments Dorie, I may get in trouble.  I just might name whose "name" I would have had to post under in order to get Featured again today.

Than link it here Larry and Sheila.

When even with your engineers hat on, I couldn't have figured all of that out Bill.  I'm sure you are right and this certainly is a long shot, but I wanted to put a thought into everyones head that maybe they should take another look at some of the stuff they thought was so "wonderful" and deserving of a Feature and maybe discover something like "Gee, it wasn't so hot to begin with, I wonder why I ever thought this would get Featured"....................or maybe all the odds will be in their favor this time if it was worthy and it will get the Gold Star the second time around.  You know most of what I write are "blatherings" so...................

Kettle, now you're reading Pots mind, that's exactly what I expected people to do.............you never disappoint.

And we never will Wayne...........but thanks so much.

Maybe it had gotten too tight Raymond...........I'm not sure.  Thanks!

jamanda you crack me up.............link all four of those bad boys right here!

I hear ya MM, the Features really mean nothing, nor do the points when you come down to it, but it's fun  .

Thanks Debbie.............well that sucks that you even have to buy your water and that you halve snow already and it's not even the middle of October.

Well, actually Rog come to think of it I always like my 2nd cup of coffee a little bit better than my first. I actually don't think I really like coffee at all but it just takes that first cup O Joe to acclimate my pallet. I'll give that idea a try. If it works for coffee it just may work for AR. {:<)

A while back this was actually done....I think Bob Stewart was responsible.  He suggested we repost something we feel should have been Featured and explain why we think it should have been.  I submitted one of my posts and he Featured it!

hmm... interesting. You know this happens frequently. You write a post that you think surely will get featured... nada. Crickets chirping. Then you write something stupid and goofy... boom. There it is on the front page.

If I have time today I'll go back to find one of those that I thought surely was going to get featured.

Roger, If more people would pay attention to their own posts, they'd possibly get more features. I love to write my blog and if I get featured, then...B-O-N-U-S! Otherwise I love to write my blog!

Where are the posts you thought might get Featured peeps?

Did you look at them and re-think it?

Possible.........

Think twice before you bitch about not being Featured.  Maybe it wasn't worthy.

Hi Roger: Getting Featured or Not, there are blogs you believe are masterly created and have not received good responses.

And there are times when our brain cells stop working and get stucked on what to write when there is a pressure inside you that you need to write something today.

Well, resuscitating and tweaking old blogs might do some magic.
