British Car Show Question and EMail Address Katy Texas
I received a query from Rob who reads my blogs on ActiveRain and his question was about a British Car Show in Katy Texas. Last year there was a car show in Katy Texas that spotlighted British cars. I wrote a blog and took some pictures. Several of these cars were really cool. Rob’s question came through Active Rain and he wanted to know if I knew of plans for a coming show as he owns a car that he wants to display at the show. Rob in answer to your question unfortunately, I have not found any indication of any show being scheduled or planned. If I find something I will write another blog.
I am sure several folks who are reading this are thinking well Bob don’t write a blog about this as you should just E-mail Rob in return with the relevant information. Whoever is thinking this is correct but I will now get to the second point of my blog today. Rob sent me a bad E-mail address. I did a copy and paste on the address he sent me so I am positive it was not bad typing that resulted in a bounced response. The response E-mail came back to immediately as being undeliverable. Rob if you read this then you now know what I know of lack of plans to hold a British car show. Send me an E-mail to email@example.com if you want me to update you with other information I found.
The key point here is folks why are some people wasting your own time and mine sending me requests for information and then giving me a phony Email address and/or phone number or both. Rob’s request with a bad email address is not unique at all. This happens all the time and especially with requests sent to my web site http:www.katyhomefinder.com. Most of the time, the requests are for local information, home searches, specific questions about home prices/neighborhoods or whatever. Rob’s question about a blog was not first time someone asked about something I wrote about and then gave me a phony means to send my response. I cannot obviously answer queries if you give me incorrect information as to a means for me to reply.
Please someone tell why this phenomena happens? What purpose does this serve? I am always pressed for time and in mind there are way too many people in the general population with way too much time on their hands. Here is a unique solution to having all this free time. Volunteer to work at a local charity. If you live in this area Email me and I will send you a long list of potential charities who can use assistance from volunteers.
