Matisse Dancers at the Baltimore Museum of Art:  Free!

The Baltimore Museum of Art is one of our favorite places to visit.  Admission is free.  The museum is located at 10 Art Museum Drive, Baltimore, Maryland, 443-573-1700, www.artbma.org.

Beginning on Wedesday and running to February 24, 2013, there will be a special exhibit of over 30 dance-themed prints by Matisse.  The works span three decades of this famous French artist.

The Contemporary Wing of BMA will be reopening on November 18 and you will not want to miss the exhibits.  Plan to have lunch or dinner at Gertrude's at the museum.  The food is ourstanding.

Dolores and I will be planning our next visit to the Baltimore Museum of Art and hope that you will do the same.

Hi Roy, Congratulations on this featured post. The photograph is 2 shades of awesome. Most certainly, the Baltimore Museum of Art exhibition would be quite an exent and so worth the effort to get to see these amazing art treasures.

William:  I did not know this was a featured post until you shared that information. The Baltimore Museum of Art is a very special place to visit when you are in the area.

OK, Roy, this is really not fair - between the Chihuly exhibit and the Matisse exhibit, your area has way too much great art stuff going on! :) lol

Sharon:  There is never too much art and there are never too many flowers.  Life is good in Maryland.
