Annapolis MD - The Lighting of the City Christmas Tree

By
Real Estate Agent with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage 531132

It was clear and crisp tonight at the City Dock tonight in Annapolis, MD where the City Christmas Tree was lit at 6 PM. Hundreds of residents and visitors spent time watching entertainment, drinking hot chocolate, singing Christmas songs and shopping.

The Mayor gave a short speech and the lighting ceremony began. A slight glitch when only the bottom half lit, but then the whole tree was lit to applause from everyone.

Santa arrived with a contingent of Police, and the kids had a great time.

Rich-That looks like it was a very fun event. Great to get the Mayor to make a short speech too. That doesn't happen very oftern here.

Those are delightful scenes, Richard!  I especially like the photo of Santa's helper on the boat.  I hope you have had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend!

Nice pictures, Richard.  Looks like a very nice tree lighting ceremony, though a bit chilly for me.

Great pictures. I especially enjoyed learning that Santa's helpers arrive by fishing boat and if I may say so Santa has good taste in helpers

Hi Richard,

That looks like a really fun event for all and I love Christmas lights with the blue and green hues. I think the Jolly Express is so cute and I am sure many will want a ride.
