30th Annual Home and Garden Show

It's back! As they have been doing since 1984, the best names in home remodeling, and gardening will be at the Tacoma Done for the Tacoma Home and Garden Show, on now through Sunday. There are over 750 exhibitors, and there will be dozens of free seminars.

This is the Largest Combined Home and Garden Show in the State

The Petersiks of 'Young House Love' will be there on Friday to share some of their do-it-yourself stories with those in attendance. The couple has generated an international following as they share the adventures- and misadventures-of renovating an older fixer-upper residence.  There will also be DIY gardening advise from the likes of Marianne Binettie, Ciscoe Morris, and Sue Goetz.

For those looking for kitchen or bath remodeling ideas, the latest trends are being showcased by the Puget Sound Chapeter of the National Kitchen & Bath Association, sponsored by Fisher Paykel Appliances.

There will also be displays of feature gardens by some of the top landscaping companies in the area.

Good information.

I used to have a booth at the Home & Garden show when I was building homes and using IFC construction. Those were so really long days, since I was a one person company.

Roger -- our winter is a bit shorter than yours, so I would expect you show to come a little while after ours.  Hope you are staying warm.

Than - yes, doing a one man process for a show like this could be very tiring.  They are really long days -- even with two people to cover, it can be overwhelming.
