Space Coast Parks & Recreation Series: Goode Park in Palm Bay

The City of Palm Bay has some very nice parks and recreation options. One of my favorites is Goode Park. I like this park for many reasons...not the least of which is the great Manatee veiwing during the season.

This park is loaded with recreation options including:

  • Boat Ramps
  • Solar Powered Lighting
  • A Large Fishing Pier
  • Grills For Cooking
  • Pavilions
  • Meeting Rooms (at the Captain's House)
  • Picnic Tables
  • Restroom Facilities

You will have plenty of parking and open space for kids to play. Since the park sits directly on the Turkey Creek it is a great place to drop your boat and get quickly into the Intracoastal Waterway. The Manatee viewing here can truly be amazing...just a reminder...no matter what your friends tell you do not bring food (not even bread or lettuce) to feed them.

Hi Jeffrey -- another great look inside one of the Space Coast's many attractions for visitors and residents alike.  I'm sure Goode Park in Palm Bay is a very popular spot -- good to get out that warning not to feed the Manatees.

Jeffrey - Goode Park in Palm Bay sounds like a fantastic park, one you could spend the entire day at.
