Finally...us realtors are understanding the importance of branding.

Having come from a background of advertising/marketing & public relations..helped me in knowing how to promote something...and until recently, all other businesses did this but it was astounding how many realtors didn't. How many times have we HEARD of another realtor in our area, but we just couldn't really place their face? We'd tell someone, "I've heard of her or him, but I would have to see a pic or see them again to tell you if I met them before?" Not too long ago alot of business cards that realtors would pass out didn't even have their pic on them and there are still alot of open house signs, business cards, flyers, and for sale signs that still don't. I think it's great that more and more signs, cards, etc are starting to have faces on them...which lets us know who our fellow realtors really are instead of just a name...it's a great almost free way to advertise yourself and your business...thank god, it's finally come to the world of realtors...I can't imagine why anyone wouldn't take advantage of marketing not only the homes their selling but themselves too...afterall, don't clients ultimately want to know YOU in order to do business with you?

Its a fine line in promoting the home and yourself -- I agree, you need to promote yourself and have that consistent branding and don't forget the Internet brand as well.  Make it a profitable day
