A Little Prevention Goes A Long Way, Stay Safe Out There!

By

I just saw a news article about a Realtor in Canada who was found dead in a home she was showing.  It brings home the fact that safety should always be a number one concern for all of us!   There doesn't seem to be a whole lot of details about the murder, but she was apparently stabbed to death while showing million dollar properties.

Stay smart about your safety, folks! Don't get yourself caught in situations where nobody knows where you're at or what properties you're showing!  It's always a good idea to let your office know when and where you are showing homes if at all possible.  If you feel uncomfortable with a client that's asking to see homes, don't work with them, it's as simple as that.  There's no commission check large enough to make it worth risking your own health and safety!

Definitely I couldn't agree more.  I think the women particularly have to watch their back.

Horrible news

I'ts always good to meet new clients at your office ( office hours) and introduce them to other agents, your broker and the receptionist, if they dont want to, you should have some concerns.

Be safe everyone
