Don't fret if you're not sure how to find your own url on social media sites.  They can be a little tricky, This post will help you easily get what you need from a few of the popular sites.

Social sites generate tons of traffic so it is important that you syndicate your content there.  We want as many eyes to catch your posts as possible.

On the top right, you'll see a settings icon (it looks like a gear).  Click it and scroll down to Account Settings.  You'll see your username listed under your name.  This is your unique url for Facebook.  Anytime you place this link somewhere, it will take your readers to your page.  Looks like this:

If you don't like what you see, click 'edit' on the right and it will allow you to change your username, thus changing your unique url.  Here are a few guidelines you should read over before you change your username.

_____________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Go to your Twitter account settings.  Right there under your username you'll see your unique url.  Looks like this:

_____________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Once you're logged in, click the arrow next to your profile page on the top right.  You'll see the link for "My Channel" appear in blue.

Click it and you'll see your unique page url at the top:

_____________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Once you're logged in, hover your mouse over the Profile tab and then click 'Edit Profile' from the drop-down menu.  Directly under your photo you'll find your unique LinkedIn url.  Looks like this:

_____________________________________________________________________________________________________________

This one isn't as pretty as the rest.  Hover your mouse over the Home Icon on the left.

A drop-down menu will appear and you'll want to click 'Profile' from here.  You'll then copy the url you see in your address bar.  Looks like this:

Not as pretty as the customizable ones you can make on other sites but that's the link you'll use.  You'll be hiding these urls behind social media icons so don't worry about the look of your web addresses.

_____________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Click your name on the top right which will bring up a drop-down menu like this:

From there, click 'Your Boards' and copy the url that appears in your address bar.  Looks like this:

If you have a specific Real Estate board, click that board from this page and you'll see your unique url change with it.

I hope this has cleared up any confusion you may have had.  I'll do my best to update this post as these sites may change their account settings at any time.  If you need help with anything or unclear on other sites, give us a ring at 1.888.643.3837.

Never mind, I just figured it out. I have to import the URL, and once it is imported, then I have to verify. Now to get the AR profile added to Google+! (Geesh, someday maybe this stuff will be easy.)

Okay, another weird problem. While editing my profile, I noticed that my own name, email, and phone number are in the boxes for people to enter their info and contact me. (Right side of page, "Put me to the Test." I have tried deleting my own info in edit mode, but then when I save it and go back to my profile, it is still there. What can I do to fix this?

Ann- That's because you're logged in as yourself.  So it's easy to fill those out as you come across others profile pages.  No need to delete it.  Consumers will see it blank and members of AR will see their name/contact info in there.

i am trying to setup Google authorship on AR.  Tried to link my google+ account but the logins are not the same.  Didn't know this would be a problem when I set them up and now it appears it is a problem.

How can I use one login on Google+, Facebook, linked in and another one on AR?

Richard & Bernadette - Each site has its own login.  Whether you choose to make the username/password the same for all sites is up to you.  Read this blog post on setting up Google Authorship and give us a ring at 888.643.3837 for any one-on-one help.  We're always here to help....well from 7-4pm Pacific :)
