Why the Active Rain Name?

By
Real Estate Agent with David Lyng Real Estate CalBRE 01341966

I have been inviting a number of Realtors and Lenders on the Monterey Peninsula to join Active Rain to create their blogging site.  We have a group of members in the area, but none that are really active.  I always tell my success story of getting a listing last year, but I keep getting the same question:  Why is the site called Active Rain?  I don't honestly know.  Is there someone out there who knows the answer and can fill me in?  I'd love to be able to explain the Active Rain story.  Thanks in advance for your replies!

As long as it's not radio-active rain, I'm good.  Interesting question.
