Laws regarding Pre-Foreclsoure

By
Real Estate Agent with Homes Charlotte, LLC

Does anyone know if the laws regarding what a buyer could pay to a seller that is in pre-forclosure have changed in Illinois?

I spoke to an agent friend of mine over the weekend who stated that things have changed here in Illinois regarding this topic.

I tried to do a google on the matter and came up with nothing.

Please advice if you can.

Thanks

Many states are considering legislation, or have enacted laws to protect the distressed homeowner from predators including deed stealers, equity thieves, and financiers who offer loans with unaffordable terms and no real expectation that the borrowers will be able to meet the repayment terms. If you Google 'predatory lending laws Illinios' you might find the information you seek.
