Housing Un-Bubble in 2006

By
Real Estate Broker Owner with Keller Williams Team Realty

Well we have survived, those that are still here, the 2006 housing un-bubble. There are some shorter ranks in the real estate agent category, but I am still receiving applicants for my Illinois pre-license classes in the Chicago area. So the report on housing in Illinois, Illinois Housing Statistics for 2006 by Illinois Association of Realtors paints a picture that we were already aware of. Unless some were asleep. Yet this is just a bump in the road.

Some may remember the late 70's and 80's where interest rates were pushing 20%. Myself and other collegues in Illinois still made a living at this game. Water and Houses are something that people will always have to have. Demand flows with the availability.

Lets take another look in twelve months, or maybe I will retire and go fishing.
