We Were Looking For the Troll Under The Bridge

Real Estate Agent with Integrity Real Estate Group

Underneath the Woodrow Wilson Bridge

Most of us remember the story of the Three Billy Goats Gruff and the troll under the bridge.  So today I decided to see if I could find him.

Jones Point Park is on the Virginia side of the Woodbridge Wilson bridge and looking up it is amazing to check out the engineering.  Though there wasn't a troll under the bridge there were plenty of people playing basketball on the courts, walking and riding their bikes.  Perhaps with 250,000 cars crossing over the bridge everyday the troll decided to find a quieter place to live.

Hi Cindy, That is an awesome looking bridge.  Maybe the Troll is more into more traditional furnishings.

Cindy, That is an engineering fete. It's nice that the underneath surfaces can be used for recreation.

That is an amazing angle.  Is it the Woodrow Wilson Bridge??  Beautiful architecture and the trolls are now found online . . . someone needs to update that Fairy Tale ;-)

I have a strange fondness for bridges, and often photograph their underbellies.  The design of this one pictured is really nice.

Hi Cindy,

I agree with Myrl as this is a nice bride; unique design and nice color. I guess the troll left and went to the forest.

Hello Cindy,

The engineering behind these structures is fascinating, we have many new briges too and it is incredible to watch the building process.

That is a very cool photograph Cindy. I did a bike ride under a bridge in Austin, and I too am looking for that troll guy. Maybe he only comes out at night. The beauty of the design is amazing...
