Here are a few things on the Easter schedule this week in Haywood County, NC.  The weather is beautiful and temperatures are warming up - - perfect for Easter Brunches and Easter egg hunts!

Duck in the eggMarch 22 - March 22 - Easter at Lake Junaluska - It starts with a 5K with registration at 6:30 am, race starting at 8:00 am. Then, children’s activities starting at 11:00am including egg hunts for children of all ages, egg decorating contest with the Haywood County Arts Council and other crafts. Cash and other prizes will be given for winners of the egg hunts and decorating contests. Over 7,000 eggs will be hidden. The event will take place at Lake Junaluska Conference and Retreat Center, partners for the event include the Waynesville Rec. Center and Haywood County Arts Council.
