March 15, 2008-Hail and Rain in Jackson County, AL

By
Real Estate Agent with Kim Wilbourn Realty

On March 15,2008 we had alot of rain and hail. The hail lasted about 2 minutes but it was coming down hard. I am sure there was alot of damage to peoples homes(roof, gutters, HVAC).

I have a insurance adjuster coming out to my home tomorrow to check and see if our roof was damaged. I would rather be safe than sorry in case there is some damage and then 6 months down the road the roof starts leaking then it will be to late to claim it on my insurance.

Here is some pictures I took!

I agree with you Kim.  Its better to be safe than sorry.  I hope there is no damage to your home.  I was traveling on the 15th and I didnt know we had hail and rain in the area at that time.

I hope we don't have any damage either. I am glad I wasn't out in it because it would have hurt!

Yea it was something else. Just to let everyone know my roof was damaged. The insurance adjuster came out today and we will have to get a new roof.
