Ice Fishing in Minnesota

By
Real Estate Broker/Owner with WHISPERING PINES REALTY 20398180

We try and make the most out of winter.

Fishing on a frozen lake is really a high light if you can stay warm.

Many people use make shift shelters with heaters.

I was fishing with a cousin some years back, and a truck pulling his fish house (as we call them) into the lake.  After a few minutes, he pulled it back past us the other way.

He must still not liked the area for he pulled his house past us again.

My cousin, bewildered by this asked me what was going on.

I told him...Oh, that guy is just trolling!

WE don't lose our humor in the cold!

Now that's interesting trolling on a frozen lake.

A few years ago we bought our son a portable fish-house. It's like a pop-up tent, only taller and narrower. He and his buddies stay out of the wind and warm with a propane heater in there.

Love the trolling!

LOL...This is a double funny because some people don't even know what trolling is.

Hey Bill, that would be one long cut in the ice.

Where do you come up with these...never mind, I don't think I want to know.

Haha! Good one Bill! Having a sense of humor helps when other avenues fail! Trolling on ice however is not going to net any fish!

Good one William.  I wasn't expecting that.  I guess you could say you had me "hook, line and sinker."

I'vew been one of those people standing over a cold, hole in the ice. I like it. Our weather is bit better than yours, though.
