Monday Morning Gifts...not so perfect with your coffee............:) :)

By
Real Estate Agent with CELLing Realty

Oh yes it's Monday again.....and after the Easter week-end, it might be a little harder for some to get started today. It's always harder to go back to work the day after a Holiday, especially if you know you will be dealing with Problems :) But after the first few hours you can get set to enjoy your Monday Gifts, or not :)

What else can you do but laugh

I have calls to make, and couldn't do it over the week-end.  For starters my Website went down yesterday.  I was trying to do some work, and went to the Admin Section of my site........it wouldn't let me in.  Then I tried the main site, and got a message that said the site was temporarily unavailable.......what did that mean, unavailable?

I wasn't happy, and called my Hosting Company....they said it wasn't them, that it was the template designer.  I had never heard of that, and since I couldn't get into my site, I had no way to check this out......ugggggggh.

So for me today is a mixed day.  Today I can make phone calls to people who only work M-F, and try to solve the types of issues we encounter in our day to day work.  But also I get to start a new week....new hopes, and new dreams.......  For that I am grateful :)

Today, this Monday is the first Monday of Spring. A Day to not just solve Problems, but to take time to listen to the brids, and enjoy the new growth all around you. So smile, and enjoy these little gifts :)

Gift#1  I found this in the Readers Digest Household Hints and Handy Tips (1994).... Protection from Wildlife:

Deerproof shrubs or other plants by surrounding them with a trail of Lion Manure. Zoos give it away.  Deer give it a wide berth.  (Was this correct, go to a zoo and get Lion Crap for my garden at $3,65 a gallon for gas.....yep will rush right over :)

Gift#2  Also from the same book: and I love this one.....it validates my style :)

On Planning your cleaning: "Decide what 'clean' means to you and then keep house accordingly.  Clean things because they're dirty, not because it's time."  (now that's something I like to hear)

Ok, so after you drive over to the zoo, and pick up some Lion Crap, you have permission to only clean what you think is dirty......now that's a Monday to remember :) :)

Kathy,

So what's the moral...when your car smells like lion crap, its time to clean it...but, if you don't clean it, will it be 'deer' proof!!! LOL Thanks,   Fran

Kathy,
Lion poop, now that is funny.  I want to know why not tiger, elephant, giraffe or bear crap?  That's the intellectual side of me that asks this type of question.  LOL!

Kathy!  I am finally getting to you!  Lion Poop?!!  I have plenty of deer and a client that works at the DC zoo?  I must get in touch with them.  I had to laugh at Fran's comment about the car smelling like lion poop.  That is funny!  I hope you had a nice weekend!

Kathy- I have enough crap lying around here I don't need any more- lion crap.  We just shoot the deer around here.  ( I bet I'll get some tree huggers out there angry at that comment )  ( I do love tree huggers )

As far as cleaning - I clean when I have time to - not when it gets dirty or not when it's time.

Kathy I love your Monday commentary- even if it is Tuesday before I read it.

We don't have deer problems and if we did the poor deer would have the problem with my hubby being a "hunter" and all.

That cleaning tidbit is so timely and I did just that this morning. With my schedule being so hectic I don't get to clean because I think it's time...not that I would. I did wake up this morning and start cleaning the bathroom before brushing my teeth...all while getting ready for work. Bathroom and kitchen MUST be clean or I feel the whole house is a mess.

A SALE, CONGRATULATIONS!!! Hope your site is back up too.

Since I'm not troubled by deer I guess I can save the gas money for the zoo but if you read a solution for skunks, raccoons or opossums please share it...the opossums have their babies in the garage, the raccoons spend their time on the roof at night upsetting the dog who won't quit trying to chase them off (from inside usually) & the skunks just make the whole neighborhood 'odoriferous'.

Fortunately I don't have to clean so I've got more time to call Animal Control (they leave you on hold especially when you have a garage full of opossums).
