Slow Market

By

I just wanted to contiune on things you can do to help sell a property in a slow market.  As I mentioned earlier pricing is the major factor.  Other things that you can do is get your client to remove all the clutter in their home.  I know they say "but we like our stuff and it's our home".  The way I look at it is when they decide to list their home it's not really theirs anymore.  They SHOULD be willing to make their home appealing to as many people as possible.  Not only does removing the clutter make the home look cleaner it also makes the home look larger.  Another thing that your clients can do to make their home more appealing is to Clean the home.  Nothing turns off a buyer more than a dirty home.   If you can get your clients to do some of these things I feel that their home will stand a better chance of selling faster and at a better price.   Next time I will discuss things we can do to sell homes in a small rural area.

Yes, the clutter is a big one.... It definitely makes any house look smaller and not as 'nice'.  They have to understand... Yes, it's your house, but aren't you trying to SELL it?  Great post.

Sizzle sells!  With sizzle, your home is worth more.  With Clutter and other distractions, your home is worth less.  Simple.

We are with you Thomas!

We will not take the listing if they do not declutter and pre-pack, they pack up and either put in the garage or in storage everything that they do not need, including furniture if they have more than is needed to show the home. We work with them and help them see what buyers see when looking at their home.
