Alphabet Soup

By
Real Estate Agent with First National Realty

You may have noticed agents with the alphabet trailing their names.  What is this and what does it mean?

This is a designation the agent has earned. Each one represents something different and the requirements to earn it may vary. So, ask your agent what kind of designation they have earned.  They will be happy to share this with you.

In general, when you see agents with alphabet trailing their name they are committed to their industry of Real Estate. This is a good indication this agent has gone the extra mile to expand their education and ultimately better serve and represent the best interest of their clients.

If you are looking for an agent you may want to consider alphabet soup.

Renae- Yes it does show that the agent cared enough about the profession to learn more than the basic.

Renae:

Hey good post and explanation. Texas is the most difficult state in the union to acquire a Real Estate license. Besides the mandatory courses they require a high amount of annual MCE credits each year. I feel like we are constantly in school. HA.

I have managed to attend some seminars along the way as well. It is fun and I think when you enjoy something you will naturally keep growing and learning.

Renae,

That "alphabet soup" indicates a REALTOR who is serious about business.  Good post!
