To Burnt Toast!

By
Real Estate Agent with Cascades Sotheby's International Realty

As the dawn of Mothers day approaches I am preparing myself for the mornings festivities.  I am the mother of two very sweet and independant daughters.  They have been planning something great for tomorrow and no doubt it will start with burnt toast!  So this is to all of you moms who will be joining me for breakfast in bed -- may the toast not be too burnt and may your day be special.

I hope you enjoy yours as much as I will enjoy mine.

I wish you a most joyous day, burnt toast and all! I'm grateful for the many Fathers Days eating burnt toast and cold eggs, thank goodness the kids never thought to bring cold cereal covered in milk, soggy cereal is something I just can't eat.

Have a wonderful, great Mothers day and I hope you enjoy many, many such mornings (they grow up).

Kelly - I can almost say I miss those Mother's Days - burnt toast and runny eggs and promisses of doing everything for me for the day - I always enjoyed the day - and dreaded the monday after -

I hope your day is great and enjoy it - they grow up all too soon

As someone who's never had kids, I think you sound pretty lucky to me!

Anyway, thanks for the welcome to Remax.. so far its been pretty great.  The whole crew is very nice and the transition's been pretty easy.

Thanks as well for the comment on my article and blog post.  When it comes to text messaging, the truth is that I've really grown to be rather a fan of it after all.  Its great to be able to shoot a quick little note out there without getting involved in an extensive conversation.   I guess I'm a convert.

See ya around the campus..

I got lucky, I made it through Mother's Day without burnt toast, and ended the day with a cleaned car and home.

Welcome to AR, you'll love it here in the Rain, there is always so many helpful people and great information.

Thanks for stopping by our blog and commenting.

KELLY, I got on to see how the burnt toast was but I didn't see anything about it.  Now you need to tell us the rest of the story.

That is so cute. That your husband makes you breakfast. :-)

OK... the kids and I have gotten better over the years... our breakfasts have become almost palatable- but seven cheers to the moms who can actually smile (and yes- sometimes cry- in a good way) through such things.
