What do you recommend for a good "Real Estate" vehicle?

By

Sorry for the long absence from blogging.  I am going to be looking for a used car.  The 1997 Buick Park Avenue I inheirited from my Mom is about at the end of it's life.  I am enjoying not having a car payment, so I plan on paying cash.  Any suggestions?  I am looking in the $10,000 to $15,000 range.  What do you find works best for your real estate business?

My first suggestion would be to not pay cash....it's better in your investment portfolio than it is to worry about not having payments....also if you buy it for work only, put signs on it...you get a better write off....

What about a Subaru Outback, all wheel drive for those out of town roads, extra room and more economical than an SUV.

I like the Hyundai Sonata.  It gets great gas mileage and is very dependable.  Let us know what you pick!  :)

You are a realtor, right? You need something you can carry people around in, something comfortable, and unless you don't care about fuel costs, you need a fuel conscious vehichle. I recently purchased a 2007 PT Cruiser from Carmax. I really don't like the car that much, but the price was right ($12000), it is comfortable for passengers and it gets decent mileage. Another great option is a Kia Optima. Good Luck.

Regardless...buy used. Why all that depreciation? 4 doors, good AC, reliable.
