Nearly 400,000 e-mails get Congress moving
McCain, members of Congress call for oil drilling
June 19, 2008
After 10 years of doing nothing, Congress is finally beginning to act on demands that we use our natural resources to help America become energy self-sufficient.
Following the receipt of nearly 400,000 e-mails from AFA supporters asking for action, Senator John McCain and several members of Congress are now advocating that the U.S. drill for oil. This is great news!
If you believe Congress should allow the exploration of energy sources which would not materially affect our environment, join the 400,000 other AFA supporters in sending that message to Congress! If Congress doesn't act to resolve this problem now, our families will be paying $10 a gallon in the near future.
We have abundant energy reserves, but efforts to provide for our needs end up in court because of the environmentalists!
Tell Congress you want common sense action now to reduce the red tape that keeps us from becoming energy self-sufficient!
Congress is now beginning to act on this problem. Send your e-mail encouraging them to move forward!
