Renovations On Topsail Island

By
Home Builder with Jerry Blackburn Custom Homes

Now is the time to take a look at your prize posession and ask, is everything ok?  Do you have windows that have leaked, deck bands or sliding doors that may have leaked in the driving rains we experience on the Ocean.

Many times damages are uncovered during minor renovations such as installing vinyl windows. new siding, or bath and/or kitchen floors.  This is common as damages occur where we can't see it on a daily basis.  Constant leakage will cause rotten wood and many times termites add additional problems.  If discovered early enough, the damages can be dealt with.

When additional damages are uncovered during renovations, we stop everything and contact the owner to insure they have a chance to see the damages and decide how they wish to handle the problem.

Check your home and get a termite bond with your local Termite Company.

You might also want to consider this when buying a home!
