"Why I love being a real estate professional!"

By
Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams West Sound Realty

I got a "Thank You" note card in the mail yesterday from one of my clients, a young Navy family, first-time home buyers. The card read as follows:

"Rich, We just wanted to say thank you. For everything you did, and not letting us give up. We really love this house and area. Thanks for not just being a realtor, but being a friend. Thank you so much!"  Keith, June, and Corey

This is the reason why I love being a realtor!

There is no intrinsic substitute for an unsolicited thank you note or letter from a client.  It makes the fires we put out, stress, fall out, and all the other less than desirable elements of this business worthwhile!

Thanks for your kind comments, Adam. How are things in Oakdale? I am originally from Livermore. We go through Oakdale when we visit my wife's folks in Twain Harte. Have a great day in real estate!

That's awesome! At the end of your life how do you want to be remembered? Live each day that way and you will! We aren't in the business of selling homes, we're in the business of changing lives!

One of my GRI instructors gave some very sage advice:

"Serve your clients well, and all else will follow."

So many times our industry gets a bad rap for being "money" driven. And certainly, we all know of certain individuals who lend to this perception. But our primary focus and motivation should be to serve and represent our clients to the very best of our abilities.

All else that we have want of, or desire, shall follow.

It's so nice to hear from former clients who let you know they're pleased with your assistance. Good testimonial.
