Stagers, Minneapolis, and friends from A/R - who knew?

By
Home Stager with www.Staged-to-Sell

This week my business partner in StagersLIST.com Terrylynn and I spent some quality time training and talking with a fantastic group of Stagers who came together from across the country. It was a full agenda and the content was intense, but we did find some time just to hang out over dinner or before we caught the shuttle in the morning to chat and catch up.

I always find it interesting to be around seasoned Stagers who have successful businesses and are willing to share their thoughts and successes.

Some of the Stagers we met are members of Active Rain, but it it took a day or two for me to realize that I actually talk to them all the time on their blogs and recognized, with some help, their photos from Active Rain!

Once I made the connection I realized that they sound just like their blogs! I know that sounds silly but its true. Just to make sure I went on tonight to read and comment on some - it's amazing. I guess it makes sense.

Long before I talk to Elaine on the phone I knew she would be fun and interesting because of her blogs - so true!

Lori Kim Polk  - the very same, on her blogs high energy and sweet - in person just the same.

One of these days I am hoping to meet Fernando - he is just a kick!

We are flying home tomorrow (Friday) which I am looking forward to as I miss my husband, daughter and my three dogs. Also, I have a few clients who would like me to stay home for a while. But I have to say it was a great trip and even better since I made so many in person connections with so many people from across the country and here on A/R.

Kym I'm glad you had a good time with all the stagers and met some of the ones here on AR in person.  I bet you learned a lot that is applicable to your own staging business.  But I'm pretty sure the other stagers learned the most from you and your partner.  Enjoy your weekend with your family.  Betty

Mary, we can't wait to see you too. The Northwest Staging Expo will be here before we know it and having you as the Local Event Coordinator is such a perfect choice.  Thank you so much for taking it on and doing such a fantastic job. See you soon!

Betty - the learning was intense all the way around. Stager's are amazing. They know so much about so many things. Whenever we get together we are recharged!

Sounds fun.  I'm getting jealous you & my mom are meeting everyone.  I'm definitely stowing away on one or more of these expo trips.

Seriously, everyone is like their posts? <grin>  Well, they do tell you to write like you speak in social media, so that people can feel they like they're getting to know you.

Why was the learning intense?
